Wisteria Cottage's comfortable en-suite
rooms and stunning countryside views will help you
to unwind. Our aim is for you to enjoy yourself in
a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. The non-smoking
bedrooms overlook the beautiful and un-spoilt
Marshwood Vale and the picturesque village of
Whitchurch Canonicorum - in medieval times one of
the most important pilgrimage sites in the
country. The parish
church featured in the recent BBC TV
Series Secret Britain and the
two other Dorset locations in the
programme, Golden Cap and Hell
Lane Holloway are within
walking distance.
.
There are many things to see and do, but if you
don't feel like driving there are plenty of
fantastic walks in all directions.
The tranquility of our location and absence of
excessive light pollution make for breathtaking
night skies.
There is a public house within
walking distance offering a friendly welcome, home
cooked food and good beer.
We pride ourselves on
the quality of our breakfasts and use locally
produced ingredients wherever possible,
(Dorset is justifiably famous for the quality and
range of its produce). Visit Britain Breakfast
Award.
Off road parking and secure cycle storage are
available and we also loan binoculars, fossil
hunting equipment and walking guides free of
charge to our guests. Wi-Fi
facilities. Wir sprechen auch
deutsch.
